Leadership & Founder

Dreibelbis Auctions was founded by Skip Dreibelbis, whose diverse professional background brings uncommon depth to the auction industry.

Raised in Central Pennsylvania, Skip is a graduate of State College Area High School and was recruited to play football at Penn State University, where he was a member of the 1986 National Championship team. He later studied Seminary & Youth Ministry at Geneva College and earned a Bachelor of Science in History & Secondary Education from Juniata College.

With a strong sense of service and patriotism, Skip served over ten years in the U.S. military, including:

  • United States Marine Corps – Military Police
  • Pennsylvania Army National Guard – Information Technology Specialist

His service included deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, earning honorable and decorated recognition. The principles of discipline, accountability, and mission accomplishment continue to guide the company today.

In civilian roles, Skip has worked as a Financial Advisor/Broker with Prudential and as an Information Technology Specialist for the U.S. Department of Defense, managing complex systems and networks—experience that directly informs Dreibelbis Auctions’ technology-driven operations.
